Spurs have scored more goals than any home team in the Premiership, hitting at nearly a 3 gpg clip while allowing nearly 2 gpg. They've scored in all 14 home games while Pompey have found the net in 12 of 15 road games. 12 of Spurs' 14 home games have seen at least 3 goals while just 6/15 away games have gone over for Pompey, but their only away clean sheets are against teams lower in the table than Tottenham. Both teams will score and only under will be a 1-1 final but I trust both teams to find a second.

Tottenham / Portsmouth over 2.5 goals -105

note to self: check weather before betting matches

ugh, wind whipping through White Hart Lane leaves little chances for a goal let alone three

Are you watching the game? I didn't even notice any wind until you mentioned it. The main problem was Portsmouth went somewhat surprising ultra defensive.

Game still almost went over very late, needed an earlier goal to get Portsmouth out of their anti-football.

*Take a look Newcastle/Fulham Over. Newcastle going with three up front for the second consecutive game. They looked dangerous in the second half at Birmingham with this formation. Keegan finally reverting to all out offensive football.

I had Spurs win at -120.

Lesson for the future: Portsmouth plays very tight away from home and under is the best choice due to coach's defensive schemes. Defoe was also ineligible today.

yes i watched the game and the wind was brutal. was easy to see once the snow started but the announcers were talking about it all match. nothing kills an over like wind

antigold, other than chelsea and man u (two best defensive home teams) the only other team all season that held pompey away was sunderland.

Really think they can break out today against Fulham, expecting at least 2 goals from Newcastle. They looked dangerous in that second half at Birmingham, had a couple chances for the winner there after they equalized.

Martins is on the verge of a breakout...

I took the under....:smoker2:
